Someone to think out loud with at 11pm
Owning a small business is lonely. Every decision is yours and nobody is around to ask. Friday knows your business as well as you do, and she's there when you need to talk something through.
Should I open on Mondays? Feels like I'm leaving money on the table
FridayMaybe. You get about 12 booking requests a week for Mondays that we turn away, mostly for cuts. That's roughly $600 a week.
But you told me in June that Monday is the only day you see your kids after school. Jess said she'd like more hours. What if Jess opens Mondays 10 to 4 and you stay off?

When you work for someone, there's always someone to ask. A manager, a coworker, somebody in the break room. When it's your business, every decision lands on you, usually late at night, usually alone.
What you usually don't have
Someone who knows your numbers, your team, your customers and your life, and who isn't going to judge you for asking a basic question at 11pm.
What Friday is
Friday knows your business from the inside: every booking, every customer, every conversation she's had on your behalf. She also remembers what you told her matters to you: your kids' schedule, the week you're trying to take off, the employee you're worried about.
So when you're turning something over, you can just text her:
- "Should I take on this wholesale order?"
- "Is it time to hire someone?"
- "Am I actually busier than last year, or does it just feel like it?"
- "How do I tell Mia her hours are getting cut?"
She'll give you real numbers, remind you of what you said you cared about, and help you find the option you hadn't thought of. Then, if you want, she'll do the next step.
Not a replacement for people
Friday isn't your accountant, your lawyer or your friends. But at 11pm, with a decision on your mind, it helps to have someone who knows everything about the business and is always happy to hear from you.
