Never run out of the one thing you need on a Saturday
The developer, the gloves, the receipt paper. Friday keeps an eye on what you use, reorders before you run low, and finds a better price when there is one.
Heads up: at the rate you've been booking color, you'll run out of 20 vol developer around Saturday afternoon.
Your usual order from SalonCentric would arrive Friday. Same order as last time, $142.80. Place it?
Yes. Are gloves ok?
FridayYou have about two weeks of gloves. I'll add them to the next order so you only pay shipping once.
It's always Saturday. A full book, a client in the chair, and the one thing you need is gone. So you send someone to the beauty supply store across town, or you apologize and reschedule.
Why it keeps happening
Keeping stock means counting, remembering what you ordered last time, knowing how fast you use it, and placing the order early enough. Nobody has time for that between clients, so it happens when you run out.
What Friday does
- Learns what you use. From your bookings and your orders, Friday knows roughly how fast each thing runs out.
- Warns you early, before a busy weekend, not after.
- Reorders on your okay, from your usual supplier, on their website, the way you'd do it.
- Bundles orders so you're not paying shipping three times a week.
- Watches prices. If your usual supplier raises a price or someone else has it cheaper, she tells you.
Or just text her
"We're almost out of receipt paper" works too. She'll handle it.
